Kids Club is a fun, inclusive and safe space for families, toddlers and kids of all ages to come and relax with friends and family. Enjoy some lunch or snacks at the beautiful onsite Myrtle Cafe and settle in for a Sunday afternoon of entertainment.

We’ve got an exciting line up of amazing musical performances along with free kids dance workshops in Hip Hop and freestyle hosted by local favourites L2R Dance and Dagogo Obogo. Footscray Community Arts life-long member, Razz will be emceeing this event.

As the weather is looking a bit unpredictable this weekend, we’ve decided to move this party inside to our Performance Space. Picture the same amount of fun, but with more disco balls, glitter and spaces for kids to draw. There will be seating available but you’re welcome to bring a picnic rug if you would like to set up a comfy spot for your family inside to watch the performances.

Part of the intention of this festival is to keep our ticket prices accessible for communities. By purchasing a ticket, you support our capacity to bring you artists and music events. Best part – kids under 5 enter free!

Meet the Artists

MzRizk Read more +

Pioneering Lebanese Australian DJ, radio presenter and event curator, MzRizk has always had a powerful affinity with music. Raised on a seemingly incongruous yet wholly satisfying sonic diet of Arabic, Boogie, Jazz, Heavy Metal, House, Techno, Hip Hop and just about anything from Rick Dees American Top 40, MzRizk is a self taught, community emboldened, creative chameleon.

In her two-decade long career MzRizk has garnered widespread acclaim as Melbourne’s leading champion of underrepresented music, and one of the city’s most respected cultural connectors. Bringing people together in unity through her wildly eclectic sets is what MzRizk does best, and no matter how refined her palette, she is constantly evolving, learning, growing, shifting with the times and being discovered by new generations of music lovers.
